Terms & conditions
By registering on or using Nikah Matches (website, web app, or mobile app), you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully before creating a profile.
1. Eligibility and purpose
- You confirm that you are 18 years of age or older and legally eligible for marriage under applicable law.
- Nikah Matches is for serious halal matrimonial purposes only — not for dating, casual relationships, or inappropriate interactions.
- Misconduct, harassment, false information, impersonation, or misuse may result in suspension or removal of your account.
2. Platform role and disclaimer
Nikah Matches is a matrimonial introduction platform only. We help members discover and connect with potential matches. We do not arrange, guarantee, or conduct Nikah, and we are not a party to any marriage or family agreement.
All profile information is submitted by members. We do not independently verify every detail submitted by members. Profiles reflect what members choose to provide, and Nikah Matches does not warrant that any profile is complete, accurate, or truthful. Any action you take based on profile information is at your own risk.
If you decide to proceed towards marriage with a match, you and your family are responsible for making your own enquiries, including identity, background, character, financial standing, and any verification you consider necessary. Any background checks are entirely your choice and responsibility, including any associated cost.
3. Member conduct
- All information you provide must be true, accurate, and not misleading to the best of your knowledge.
- You agree to use the platform respectfully and not harass, abuse, impersonate, or mislead other members.
- You agree to follow Nikah Matches community guidelines and all applicable laws in your jurisdiction.
- Photos and contact details are shared only according to Nikah Matches privacy rules and after the required mutual acceptance/meeting stage.
- Contact details become available when members proceed to a meeting after mutual acceptance, according to platform rules.
4. Fees and subscriptions
No registration fee. No settlement fee. No success-based commission. No hidden charges. Nikah Matches is a matchmaking platform only. Premium features are optional recharge plans. While your plan is active, you may send interest requests, subject to a fair pending limit so that proposals remain serious. See Membership packages for current prices. 5. Photos and privacy
- Photos are optional. You may register, appear in search, and send interests without uploading a photo.
- Groom photos may appear in search when uploaded. Bride photos remain protected until interest is accepted and privacy rules allow viewing.
- You must not copy, distribute, or misuse another member's photos or contact details.
6. Account suspension and termination
Misuse, false information, or violation of these terms may result in suspension or removal of your account. Nikah Matches may suspend or delete your account for conduct harmful to other members or the platform. You may delete your account from Settings at any time. Deletion is permanent: you will no longer be able to log in, and the account cannot be restored.
If your marriage is fixed through another source and you no longer need the platform, please delete your Nikah Matches account promptly. This helps avoid inconvenience to you and other members. If you become Nikah Matched on this platform, your profile is hidden from search automatically — that is not an account deletion.
7. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Nikah Matches is not liable for loss, disputes, fraud, misrepresentation, or harm arising from your interactions with other members, whether online or offline, except where liability cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.
8. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
